Project MEND collecting gently used medical equipment during Operation Drop-Off



SAN ANTONIO – Project MEND supplies much-needed low cost medical equipment to for other people of every age to take care of their independence and mobility.

The medical mobility equipment undergoes inspection, refurbishment and is then redistributed during the nonprofit’s Medical Equipment Reuse Program.

In July 2023, Project MEND held a city-wide assortment pressure to assist refill its medical equipment stock. The generosity of the group surpassed the nonprofit’s expectancies. Donations from the one-day match assist Project MEND meet the desires of the shoppers on their ready checklist.

However, the will for mobility pieces stays in top call for. Project MEND is on the lookout for donations to assist neighbors in our group thrive. Operation Drop-Off is a joint effort between Project MEND and 3 native organizations.

Donations shall be amassed till Dec. 1. Anyone with gently used medical pieces like wheelchairs, crutches, energy chairs, rollators, bathtub switch benches, and residential health facility beds can deliver it to the next VFW Posts:
