Mets GM Billy Eppler steps down so David Stearns can have ‘clean slate’ in Queens

New York Mets common supervisor Billy Eppler has resigned after two seasons at the process, the club announced Thursday. Eppler, 48, were the Mets’ GM since November of 2021 and helped construct the workforce that received 101 video games and made the playoffs in 2022.
