Mets close to hiring John Gibbons, former Blue Jays manager and 1986 champion, as bench coach, per report

The New York Mets are close to naming two-time Toronto Blue Jays manager John Gibbons their new bench trainer, reports The Athletic. The workforce has no longer but introduced the rent.
