Inmate escapes work truck in Dallas, sources say

DALLAS — Dallas police are looking for an escaped inmate who were given out of a prison work truck close to the Bishop Arts District. 

Sources instructed WFAA the inmate was once a trustee and now not a violent felon. The trustee was once in the prison work truck and jumped out close to Interstate 30 and Sylvan Avenue. 

A TxDPS helicopter was once aiding in the seek for the inmate.
