The Gainesville Police Department not too long ago knowledgeable drivers about the enactment of a Florida Law which prohibits loud sound-making units from automobiles.
This law prohibits anybody in a motorcar close to a church, college, or hospital from amplifying noise deemed plainly audible from 25 ft or extra.

Graham Glover, GPD public information officer, stated the division’s purpose is to coach the general public on the law.
Glover believes motorists will obey the law as soon as the group is educated and understands the repercussions.
