OKLAHOMA COUNTY, Okla. — The former chairman of the Oklahoma College Republicans pleaded guilty to an assault charge after he was arrested in 2022 on fees that he propositioned and had intercourse with a baby underneath the age of 16.
The Oklahoma County Clerk’s Office stated Jonathon Hernandez pleaded guilty to assault with intent to commit a felony of sexual battery. He was sentenced to 5 years within the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, and granted the choice to switch to the State of Texas.
In July 2022, court documents revealed Hernandez was accused of getting intercourse with a 14-year-old boy inside his dorm room at Oklahoma Christian University.
