Florida woman wins $1 million playing Lottery scratch-off game

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida woman claimed her $1 million prize this week after buying a successful scratch-off ticket.

Kathryn Faver, 58, of Santa Rosa Beach, selected to obtain her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum cost of $820,000.

According to the Florida Lottery, Faver bought a successful 500x The Cash ticket from Cumberland Farms, situated at 7986 Highway 98 East in Destin.

The enterprise will obtain a $2,000 bonus fee for promoting the successful scratch-off ticket.
