Baltimore Orioles All-Star cloer Félix Bautista can have Tommy John surgical operation, GM Mike Elias introduced Saturday (per the Baltimore Sun). He will leave out the remainder of this season and likely all of the 2024 season as smartly.
Bautista, 28, has now not pitched since Aug. 25 on account of his elbow injury. He has been taking part in catch or even threw within the bullpen previous this month, although clearly his elbow isn’t sport able.
