Family wants justice after hit-and-run driver kills man on Biscayne Boulevard: ‘Left him to die’


NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Loved ones are looking for solutions after a man was once killed in a hit-and-run in North Miami Beach.

“He could’ve lived another 30 years but someone took his life,” stated Chartis Ingraham, the sufferer’s sister. “How could you leave someone in the street like that? Run him over and leave him like that?”

Her brother was once 59-year-old Levandous Henderson.

On Feb. 5 round 1 a.m. he was once leaving his activity at P.F. Chang’s on Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 173rd Street.

Ingraham stated he have been operating on the eating place for just about 30 years.

“Normally he rides his bike,” she stated. “A car ran him over and left him to die.”

The circle of relatives stated the driver was once in a purple Infiniti.

They need justice for his or her cherished one and for that driver to be held accountable.

“He was a very nice gentle person, kept to himself and lived alone,” stated Ingraham. “He was loved by everyone.”

The North Miami Beach Police Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit stated they’re investigating the incident, however there was no phrase on any arrests.
