DESOTO, Texas — The City of DeSoto and DeSoto Parks & Recreation introduced Friday they’re canceling town’s holiday parade and suspending the tree lighting ceremony this weekend.
City officers stated the success of the DeSoto Eagles soccer crew, who will probably be taking over Denton Guyer within the 6A Division II semifinals Saturday and doable rain showers have prompted the change.
Officials stated the parade won’t be rescheduled, however the tree lighting ceremony will probably be happening Monday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.
