Daughter of Miami-Dade hit-and-run victim wants driver captured


MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Sixty-seven-year-old Madette Laurent died whilst crossing the road in northeast Miami-Dade Sunday morning; police mentioned the driver who hit her took off.

Now, her devastated daughter is tough justice. She mentioned she wants the driver who left her mom mendacity on the street like an animal to step up and switch him or herself in.

“I just want someone to help me to just find that person,” Naresh Laurent mentioned. “I need justice for my mom.”

The crash took place at round 5:25 a.m. alongside Northeast Sixth Avenue close to 149th Street.

“Just someone hit my mom like that and it hurts,” Naresh Laurent mentioned. “I just want that person — I need justice.”

Madette Laurent had 5 kids; maximum of her circle of relatives lives in Haiti.

Her daughter known as her an unbelievable mom.

“She’s a good mom, good mom,” Naresh Laurent mentioned. “I miss my mom I want my mother back.”

Miami-Dade police persisted to research Monday.

Police haven’t made any arrests, however witnesses say the driver could have been in a maroon-colored SUV on the time of the crash.
