Hollywood star Chris Evans` mom Lisa thinks it was “about time” her son was named Sexiest Man Alive.
The 41-year-old actor was revealed to have taken People journal`s annual accolade earlier this week and his mom Lisa has stated she will be telling “everyone” about his win, experiences femalefirst.co.uk.
Speaking to Boston`s WHDH TV 7NEWS news channel, she stated: “My reaction was, `yeah, of course, it`s about time!` I was bragging when he was potty trained, I was bragging when he was walking, but this is something that everyone will know about. I`m pretty happy about it.”
While Lisa was unsurprised by the `Avengers: Endgame` actor`s win, she revealed her son was shocked.
She stated: “He`s always amazed at his own success, he`s amazed at what people think of him.”
And although she is happy with Chris` new title, she thinks his friends will see it as a purpose to poke enjoyable at him.
She stated: “(His friends) will absolutely give him grief about it, but – they`re very funny.”
Evans stated when his win was introduced that his mom could be “so happy” about it.
He stated: “My mom will be so happy. She`s proud of everything I do, but this is something she can really brag about.”
The `Knives Out` star admitted earlier this week he has to take higher care of himself now that he’s in his 40s.
He stated: “In the nice ol` days I might eat no matter I needed, do a pair exercises per week and be okay.
“That shouldn’t be the case anymore. If I’ve two beers, I put on it. I haven`t needed to play a task like Captain America shortly so issues like weight loss plan and exercise routine haven`t been on my radar. But getting older, issues are clicking and sore and it`s more durable to get up, you will have much less power…
“You know what it is? It`s that it happened so quickly. A year ago I wasn`t thinking about any of this. I was someone who was lucky enough to not really think much of it in my 30s and then I hit 40 and it all came at once.”
