Women’s Golf finishes fourth at Stanford Intercollegiate


STANFORD, Calif. — The No. 8 University of Texas Women’s Golf workforce shot 2-under over the ultimate 18 holes and completed in fourth-place at the Stanford Intercollegiate on Sunday.  Texas shot 1-under as a workforce for the event. 

The Longhorns have been one in every of 4 groups to shoot underneath par on the ultimate day of the event together with Stanford, San Jose State and Iowa State. The Cardinal received the event with a 15-under par workforce rating, adopted by San Jose State (-5) and Iowa State (-5).

Texas tallied the second most birdies of any workforce within the event over the course of the three rounds with 48 birdies. The Longhorns led the event discipline in par 5 scoring with a mean of 4.63.  

Freshman Angela Heo led the best way for the Longhorns with rounds of 69-69-70 to shoot 5-under par and end tied for fourth-place individually. 

The Lineup

Angela Heo performed a constant event. Heo had the third finest common on par 5’s over the course of the event at 4.42. 

Bentley Cotton moved up 21 spots on the leaderboard within the closing spherical with a 2-under 69. Cotton made 4 birdies on her closing 18 holes and completed tied for 25th for the event. 

Cindy Hsu completed tied for 25th within the event with a closing spherical even-par 71.

Bohyun Park carded a 1-over 72 and completed tied for 35th for the event.

Sophie Guo completed tied for 35th at 4-over for the event. Guo eagled the par 5 seventh gap within the closing spherical.
