Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at Schooner Fall Classic


NORMAN, Okla. – For the second one time in 3 days, University of Houston sophomore Moa Svedenskiold fired a 3-under 67 to steer the Cougars within the Final Round of the Schooner Fall Classic and earn her 2d immediately Top-10 end to open the season on Monday afternoon.
 
Playing one student-athlete down because of sickness, the 20th-ranked Cougars recorded their 2d immediately sub-par spherical as a group, completing with a ranking of 2-under 278, to complete fourth with a three-day overall of 838 at the 6,182-yard route.

Svedenskiold joined Maddison Hinson Tolchard (Oklahoma State) and Lois Lau (TCU) in a tie for 7th.
 
UP NEXT
Following the Schooner Fall Classic, the Cougars tee off at the Illini Invitational at Medinah on Oct. 9-10 at Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Ill.
 
From there, Houston closes the autumn season when it competes at the Jim West Challenge at Kissing Tree Golf Club in San Marcos, Texas, on Oct. 20-22.
 
Following the vacation smash, the Cougars open their spring season once they play at the Nexus Collegiate at Albany Golf Club in Nassau, Bahamas, on Feb. 12-13, 2024.
