POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A Delray Beach girl faces a legal price in Broward County after deputies stated she wielded a baseball bat at a gasoline station and threatened a man with it after accusing him of cutting in line at its air pump, in line with an arrest record launched Friday.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office record, the incident came about Monday at the Wawa at 3601 N. Federal Highway in Pompano Beach.
Christine McKinney, irate over it appears being jumped in line as she attempted to fill her tires, were given out of her automotive and started cursing at the man, then reached into her automotive and pulled out a crimson baseball bat, Deputy Sean Weissman wrote.
McKinney, 55, then “raised the bat aggressively, walked toward him and said, ‘If you don’t move your car, I will use this,’” Weissman wrote.
The man informed deputies he jumped again into his automotive with his spouse out of worry for his protection. According to the record, McKinney, preserving the bat, lurked across the motive force and passenger aspects of the car seeking to coax the man into coming again out.
Deputies stated after the man indicated he needed to press fees, deputies took McKinney into custody and located the crimson bat inside of her car.
A Broward pass judgement on discovered possible purpose to price McKinney with irritated attack with a dangerous weapon and ordered she don’t have any touch with the sufferer, no longer go back to the Wawa and no longer possess any guns or ammunition.
