Tornadoes carve path of destruction throughout Houston suburbs

Severe storms spawned a minimum of 14 reviews of tornadoes throughout southeastern Texas and southwestern Louisiana on Tuesday afternoon, inflicting injury and accidents. Pasadena and Deer Park, suburbs on the southeastern aspect of the Houston metro space, have been among the hardest-hit areas after a tornado tore through the region.

Officials are calling the aftermath in Pasadena nothing in need of catastrophic because the true scope of the damage is revealed. Homes and buildings have been torn aside, as automobiles and vehicles have been tossed apart as if there have been toys.

Magnitude 4.2 earthquake, a number of aftershocks shake Los Angeles space

A magnitude 4.2 earthquake and a number of aftershocks struck near Malibu in the Los Angeles area early Wednesday morning. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the preliminary 4.2-magnitude quake occurred just offshore about 10 miles south of Malibu Beach at 2 a.m. PST. The depth of the earthquake was about 9.2 miles.

Some three minutes after the primary quake, a magnitude 3.5 aftershock was reported in almost the identical spot at a depth of about 8 miles. That was adopted by 2.8-magnitude and a pair of.6-magnitude aftershocks at 2:22 a.m. and a pair of:38 a.m. PST, respectively.

Snow, extreme climate proceed Wednesday

Oklahoma City was one of many locations covered in snow Tuesday because the disruptive winter storm moved east. The wintry aspect of the storm will probably be centered on the Midwest, the place a big swath of nearly a foot of snow is possible from Missouri to Indiana. The storm is ultimately headed to the Northeast.
