Demetrick Brown, 26, was shot and killed throughout a pop-up block social gathering on July 4.

Brown’s household remembered him as a humble and kind-hearted individual. On July 28, police introduced that the reward resulting in an arrest for his homicide elevated to $10,000.

“They gave a $10,000 reward for my brother’s death. Which is a lot of money for some. It shouldn’t even take $10,000 because he was an innocent guy. Stand-up guy, humble person, will give you the shirt off his back,” Dejuan Hopkins advised ABC Action News in July.
