Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), on Monday, introduced the squads for the upcoming multi-format tour of the West Indies in June-July. The tour consists of two Tests, three T20 Internationals (T20Is) and three One-Day Internationals (ODIs), beginning June 16 in Antigua.
Speedster Mustafizur Rahman is all set to make his return to red-ball cricket as he was named in the Test outfit. Notably, Mustafizur has not featured in Bangladesh’s red-ball crew since the dwelling sequence in opposition to the similar opposition in February final 12 months. The two-match Test sequence can be a part of the ongoing World Test Championship (2021-2023).
After finishing the Test matches, the two sides will tackle one another in the white-ball format in three T20I and as many ODIs throughout July. Left-hand batter Tamim Iqbal was named as captain of the one-day squad, whereas all-rounder Mahmudullah will lead the T20 aspect.
