Weekend closures planned along Loop 1604, expect delays



SAN ANTONIO – Drivers will have to plan their shuttle forward of time, particularly along Loop 1604 this weekend. According, TxDOT there will likely be a number of closures along the hall as a part of the North Expansion Project.

There will likely be a complete closure of the Loop 1604 major lanes, between the Lockhill Selma Road front ramp to the Vance Jackson Road go out ramp.

Drivers heading down I-10 westbound may even see a closure along the principle lanes on the go out ramp/direct connector ramp to Loop 1604 eastbound. A closure may even happen along I-10 eastbound, on the Cloverleaf go out, to Loop 1604 eastbound.

These closures will permit for crews to use scorching asphalt pavement.

Expect a complete closure of Lockhill Selma Rd. beneath the Loop 1604 intersection for “storm sewer crossing work”, in line with TxDOT.

The closures will likely be start on Friday, Oct. 6 and proceed thru Monday, Oct. 9. The paintings will start at 9 p.m. and end round 5 a.m.

Three segments are lately being built, and two others are nonetheless in construction. The general undertaking stretches 23 miles along Loop 1604 from Bandera Road to I-35.
