Wednesday’s Child: Aiden has been adopted

WFAA shot Aiden’s Wednesday’s Child phase inside the tv studios — gifting him with an anchor job for the day in February 2020.

DALLAS — We have an thrilling replace from deep within the coronary heart of WFAA. It’s about a little bit boy who needed to tape his Wednesday’s Child report right here in our studios.

Do you bear in mind Aiden? He was 12 years outdated when WFAA first met him.

Aiden did not count on the welcome he obtained when WFAA taped his Wednesday’s Child report within the station’s studios two and a half years in the past. Nor did Aiden count on the shock from WFAA bosses. They provided him a one-day contract to be an honorary anchor.

Aiden signed on the dotted line as quick as he may. He then walked the WFAA halls proudly, with that contract and with confidence.

That memorable taping occurred in February of 2020. Fast ahead to in the present day, and we’re elated to announce that Aiden moved into his eternally residence earlier this month. His CPS case is now closed.

His caseworker mentioned that Aiden needed her to inform WFAA the great news! He will always remember his day at WFAA and we are going to always remember him.
