We have been recruiting her since we arrived on campus, but what impressed me the most about Azjah this summer was her accepting the leadership role with her AAU team and dominating games when she needed to do that for her team to succeed. We are excited about her future.”

“Queen is bringing some valuable international experience to our team. She can play both guard and forward positions with her inside-out game. She has been exceptional with her club team, and she had some major minutes with the national team this summer. We are looking for her to come in and have an immediate impact with our team.”

Crystal Hayes, 6-4, Guard, Houston, Texas (James Madison High)
• Averages 18.0 ppg. and 5.0 rpg.
• 2nd Team All-District

“We think Crystal will be a great player for us. She has an aggressive attack mentality, and we were very impressed with her shooting ability. She will fit right in with our team. We think she will provide major match-up issues for our opponents because of her length on defense and her fundamental skills on offense.”

Daniela Vallecilla, 6-4, Forward, Colombia (Valle Del Cauca/Cypress Ranch High)
• Averaged 12.0 ppg., 12.0 rpg., and a pair of.0 bpg.

“Daniela has really developed into a dominate post player this past year. She has competitive experience with one of the best AAU programs in the nation and with her highly ranked high school team in Houston. She has not reached her full potential and her best basketball is yet to come. Fans will love her passion and work ethic and her desire to win championships.”
