HOLIDAY, Fla. — A waterspout spinning simply offshore of Pasco County prompted a tornado warning late Monday morning.
The National Weather Service issued the tornado warning simply after 10:30 a.m. in case the waterspout moved ashore. Video shot by Tyler Carmer confirmed the waterspout because it moved in direction of land.
According to the National Weather Service, the waterspout was close to Holiday and lifted earlier than reaching land close to the Anclote Power Plant. No injury was reported from the storm.
