Days after scoring two back-to-back centuries in the Royal London One-Day Cup, India star Cheteshwar Pujara continued his golden run and smashed his third hundred for Sussex in opposition to Middlesex on Tuesday.
Pujara reached the triple-figure mark off simply 75 balls with 14 fours and a few sixes. Overall the Sussex skipper scored 132 from 90 deliveries at a wide ranging strike charge of 146.67.
Pujara, who’s famend for his red-ball exploits, has been phenomenal in the 50-over match in England. He is the second-highest run-scorer in the completion with 482 runs from seven innings, at a median of 96.40 and strike charge of 110.05.

Speaking concerning the ongoing contest, Sussex managed to submit a humongous 400/4 in 50 overs. Apart from Pujara, opening batter Tom Alsop smashed an unbeaten 189 from 155 deliveries, together with 19 fours and 5 sixes.
Middlesex’s Max Harris picked three wickets however went for 98 runs in his 10 overs. Though, Thilan Walallawita bowled a cost-effective spell and conceded solely 32 runs with a wicket in his quota of 10 overs.
