Watauga police shoot, kill man early Friday



WATAUGA, Texas — Two officers fired at and fatally struck a man early Friday morning after the man reportedly raised a gun of their route, Watauga police say. 

Officers have been known as at about 3:30 a.m. Friday a few suicidal particular person within the 7700 block of Virgie Court who was armed and harmful.

Upon arrival, police say officers started negotiating with the man, who fired the weapon a number of occasions inside his home throughout negotiations. 

After hours of negotiation, police say the man exited the residence’s entrance door with a gun and raised it within the route of officers. Two officers responded by firing their weapons on the man, placing him. 

Officers instantly rendered medical support, police say, and he was taken by ambulance to a hospital, the place he later died from his accidents.

No officers have been harm in the course of the incident, police say. 

The Texas Rangers are investigating the capturing. No additional information was made accessible presently.
