Video shows Ohio man likely had firearm training before killing 2, injuring 1 in Miami


MIAMI – Surveillance video launched on Tuesday shows it’s likely {that a} gunman who killed two males and injured a witness in Miami had firearm training, police stated.

Miami detectives recognized him as Jason Craig Dyer-Mitchell. Records display the 23-year-old man from Ohio had an arrest document in Miami Beach after an assault in South Beach.

Dyer-Mitchell has been on the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center since early Sunday morning. Detectives accused him of fatally capturing Shamun Shaukat and Shahbaz Hussain, and injuring Elijah Shorter at about 12:30 a.m., on Saturday in Liberty City

Shaukat and Hussain have been running and on the brink of shut the Chevron gasoline station, at 1701 NW 54 St., when Shaukat suspected Dyer-Mitchell used to be shoplifting and faced him.
