Video shows man ramming car into Broward gas station where woman sought refuge; cops later shot him after chase


PLANTATION, Fla. – A man was once shot early Friday morning after a home incident sparked a police chase in Plantation and resulted in a crash and war of words in Lauderhill, government stated.

The incident started simply ahead of 5 a.m. when officials replied to a Mobil gas station at 10261 W. Broward Boulevard for stories of a home disturbance, consistent with the Plantation police.

Investigators stated a 31-year-old woman went into the gas station to check out to break out from her 32-year-old boyfriend when the boyfriend rammed the door of the gas station along with his car.

Surveillance photos acquired by way of Local 10 News confirmed a buyer status on the door and briefly getting out of the best way because the suspect drove his car into the entrance doorways of the industry.

Following a temporary foot chase, police tried to detain the man who they stated resisted arrest.

Police stated as a combat ensued, the man tried to take the officer’s gun when the officer shot him.

The man was once transported to a close-by medical institution for remedy, where he was once indexed in essential situation. His identification hasn’t been launched.

The incident has left many Broward citizens on edge.

“I’m traumatized to be honest,” stated a Lauderhill resident. “I’ve never witnessed anything that close to where I live, especially a shooting.”

Authorities stated the man may just face fees that come with kidnapping, false imprisonment, annoyed battery on a regulation enforcement officer, annoyed attack, fleeing and eluding regulation enforcement, depriving an officer’s weapon and resisting arrest.

Authorities showed that the Plantation Police Department is main the investigation and not one of the responding officials sustained any severe accidents following the incident.
