STOUGHTON – The man wanted for the murder of Amber Buckner in Stoughton final week is underneath arrest in New York City.

Victor Carter, 39, who has current addresses in Stoughton and Brockton, was captured by police on the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan Saturday afternoon, based on the Norfolk District Attorney’s workplace.

Buckner was discovered useless in a small constructing behind a house on Park Street on Tuesday, December 13. A pair with ties to the house discovered her physique. Neighbors advised WBZ-TV they didn’t know who lived in the home.

“Carter had a relationship history with Buckner,” Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey stated in a press release Saturday.

Carter is being held in New York City till the court docket course of can start to deliver him again to Stoughton District Court for arraignment.
