SAN ANTONIO – United Way of San Antonio is hosting the ninth annual Hunger Action Food Pantry on Sept. 23.
Individuals and households who want to obtain free food provides can register online for the development, which can happen from September 11 a.m. on the Winston Intermediate School of Excellence, situated at 2525 S General McMullen Drive.
Anyone who registers will obtain free, pre-packaged food all the way through the development.
“Food insecurity is one of the most critical challenges that San Antonio residents face daily and is one of the top issues that 2-1-1 Helpline callers request assistance with,” United Way officers stated in a press free up.
The free food pantry is open to the general public.
During United Way’s 2022 Hunger Action Food Pantry, greater than 20,000 kilos of food was once given out to greater than 1,000 other folks, consistent with the clicking free up.
