Unborn child dies after man ambushed mother in baseball bat attack



POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A 34-year-old man arrested after deputies mentioned he attacked the pregnant mother of his child in Pompano Beach is now dealing with an extra fee after the Broward Sheriff’s Office mentioned Friday that the unborn child later died.

Emmanuel Prevaly is accused of donning a masks and ambushing the lady in an condo advanced parking space in the 1200 block of South Dixie Highway West remaining Friday, beating her many times with a baseball bat.

Witnesses heard the lady screaming for lend a hand and Prevaly fled after seeing them pop out to interfere, deputies mentioned; one of the most witnesses later wrestled him to the bottom ahead of deputies arrived. Authorities mentioned the sufferer didn’t to begin with know Prevaly used to be the attacker.

Deputies mentioned docs “were unable to detect a heartbeat on the unborn child” and the Broward clinical examiner later decided the fetus’ explanation for demise to be from “multiple blunt force injuries.”

That led government Thursday to fee Prevaly, who used to be already jailed on a rely of tried homicide, with killing an unborn child.
