Ukraine’s capital Kyiv attacked by Russia for first time in 44 days with 13 people hurt

KYIV – Ukraine’s capital used to be attacked by Russia for the first time in 44 days Thursday as Kyiv citizens woke early to loud explosions.

Ukraine’s Emergency Service stated 13 people had been wounded, together with one kid, and that dozens of people had been evacuated from their properties.

Around 30 cruise and ballistic missiles had been shot down over the town, stated Serhii Popko, the top of Kyiv City Administration.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district in western Kyiv, an condo in a multistory construction and automobiles had been set on fireplace because of the Russian assault, Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated.

The assault comes after Ukraine has frequently attacked Russia’s Belgorod area close to the border with Ukraine for a number of days.
