SEATTLE – Two highway exams take the Husky males’s tennis crew to Arkansas and Oklahoma this week because the Dawgs go after what can be signature non-conference wins in Fayetteville and Stillwater. Washington (4-1) takes on Arkansas (9-1) first on Friday, Feb. 10, then two days later meets Oklahoma State (5-2) on Sunday, Feb. 12.

 

Match time towards the Razorbacks is about for 3 p.m. Pacific. Arkansas already has 10 matches underneath its belt, beginning with a 4-3 highway win at San Diego State on Jan. 13. They took their first loss to Northwestern in ITA Kickoff Weekend in Michigan, then bought a 4-1 win over Cal Poly within the second match. Melvin Manuel is 7-0 in singles for Arkansas on the No. 2 and three spots and Gerard Planelles is 8-1 at 4-5-6. No Razorbacks are at present ranked. Washington had a 2-5 loss at Arkansas in 2021.

 

Sunday’s match in Stillwater begins at 9 a.m. Pacific. Oklahoma State gained its first 5 matches with out shedding some extent, however then dropped two 4-0 matches throughout ITA Kickoff Weekend towards ranked North Carolina and Columbia squads in Chapel Hill, N.C.
