Trial begins for man accused in slaying of Fort Worth police officer

The trial for one of the boys accused in the 2018 loss of life of a Fort Worth police officer started in Fort Worth Monday after a delay when the defendant swallowed razor blades.

Timothy Kion Huff, 36, is charged with capital homicide for the loss of life of 40-year-old officer Garrett Hull.

Last week, the trial was delayed after District Judge George Gallagher discovered that Huff was in the hospital for swallowing razor blades. The workplace didn’t say how Huff obtained maintain of the razors or when he swallowed them.

Officer Hull’s spouse, Sabrina, advised jurors Monday she talked to her husband about his security shortly earlier than he died, in keeping with WFAA-TV (Channel 8).
