Top ranked pound-for-pound fighters in Texas unite to offer self-defense course for women

ROBINSON, Texas (KWTX) – Central Texas’ first feminine UFC fighter is providing a course for women to be taught self-defense simply as she prepares for her first UFC battle in solely weeks.

UFC fighter Hailey “All Hail” Cowan-Brennan, 30,  together with Desiree “Dirtydez” Yanez, 32, a PFC champion and the second ranked pound-for-pound fighter in Texas, have joined forces for the category in Robinson to assist defend women.

The athletes come from a household of women and say empowering women to defend themselves is essential to them.

“Between the two of us, we are the number one and number two ranked pound-for-pound females in the entire state of Texas,” Cowan-Brennan stated.

“And between the two of us, we have five sisters,” Yanez added.

The course will embody two hours of personal instruction from the fighters with strategies of how to defend your self towards a stronger adversary in real-life conditions.

“Female self-defense is very important to the two of us,” Cowan-Brennan stated. “We love our sisters, and we love each other, and we want to help you learn how to defend yourself.”

The course shall be $45 for Blitz members and $60 for non-members however you’re going to get to deliver a pal for free with the acquisition.
