The Biden administration announces $970 million in grants for airport improvements across the US



WASHINGTON – The Biden administration stated Thursday it’s offering $970 million for improvements at 114 airports round the nation, with paintings starting from wider concourses and new baggage-handling programs to new terminals at some small airfields.

Administration officers stated the cash comes from a $5 billion grant program to modernize airport terminals.

The biggest sum, $50 million, will cross to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida for a undertaking to glue terminals in the back of the safety checkpoints and supply new retail house and different facilities.

O’Hare International Airport in Chicago gets $40 million to widen a concourse, reconfigure a safety checkpoint and different adjustments.
