A Houston man is going through fees that he kidnapped and tortured a woman for 5 days after they met via a well-liked dating app, CBS News reports.
A woman from the Houston suburb of Spring met up with 21-year-old Zachary Mills on Christmas Eve after connecting on the Bumble app, the news group experiences, citing police information. The date was a nightmare after she agreed to go to Mills’ house, in keeping with authorities.
The woman, who hasn’t been publicly recognized, denied Mills’ repeated sexual advances, in keeping with CBS News. Police stated he then beat her with a screwdriver, denied her meals and water and would not permit her to go away.
The woman escaped Dec. 29 after Mills left the house to go to his father, in keeping with authorities. She informed the primary folks she noticed what had occurred and was transported to a Houston-area hospital.
Mills now faces fees of aggravated kidnapping, in keeping with the story. He was launched on $50,000 bond and was positioned on home arrest.
