Six Texas Tech University students have been chosen as Fulbright finalists for the 2022-23 educational 12 months, whereas three students had been named semi-finalists. The six finalists will journey to Uzbekistan, Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico, Norway and Canada.

The following had been named Fulbright Students:
- Aaron Szczesny, a graduating senior within the College of Arts & Sciences and the Honors College, will educate English in Uzbekistan.
- Anne Wharton, a doctoral pupil within the J.T. & Margaret Talkington College of Visual & Performing Arts, will conduct interdisciplinary tremendous arts analysis in Trinidad and Tobago.
- Brook McClurg, a doctoral pupil within the College of Arts & Sciences’ Department of English, will conduct inventive writing analysis in Mexico.
- Jennifer Robertson, additionally a doctoral pupil within the Department of English, will conduct literature analysis in Norway.

Aliza Wong, interim dean of the Honors College, expressed gratitude to Flores for mentoring this 12 months’s Fulbright winners.
