Texas Tech beats Mountaineers on road for third straight win


MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Jaylon Tyson had a career-high 27 factors and Fardaws Aimaq scored Texas Tech’s final eight factors in main the Red Raiders to a 78-72 win over West Virginia on Saturday.

Tyson and Aimaq mixed for 25 second-half factors for Tech (15-12, 4-10), which began the day tied with Oklahoma for final within the Big 12, a recreation again of the Mountaineers (15-12, 4-10). The Raiders have received three straight together with wins over No. 6 Texas and No. 12 Kansas State.
