Keller ISD pulled a complete of 42 books to evaluate beneath new insurance policies that had been handed at a board assembly final week.
KELLER, Texas — The debate over books in Texas school libraries continues.
The Keller Independent School District is now at the middle of the debate after it despatched an electronic mail to principals and librarians, telling them to tug 42 books which have been challenged by dad and mom.
The checklist of 42 books consists of the Bible and “Anne Frank’s Diary: The Graphic Adaption.” The full list can be seen here.
In a press release, the district stated the books had been being eliminated to be able to evaluate them beneath new policies that were approved by the school board throughout a gathering on Aug. 8.
