NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – A homicide cost has been dropped towards the Texas man who’s accused of shooting another man. The incident occurred in Clovis on New Year’s Day.
Ian Michael Downs, who was arrested for shooting a man named Oscar Trujillo, informed police he had shot in self-defense.

Police mentioned they had been in a position to see doorbell and safety digital camera footage which corroborated his model of the incident.
Clovis police are nonetheless investigating, and the District Attorney’s Office mentioned charges could possibly be filed in the longer term.
