The Texas Department of Public Safety’s vehicle inspection system has been down for 2 days due to an outage, and it’s unknown when maintenance might be entire.
The company introduced the outage Thursday and stated it to start with started on Aug. 23.

Emission inspections aren’t suffering from the outage. However, station license renewal packages are unavailable till the system is again up and operating.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible,” DPS stated in a commentary.
