Texas congressman says busloads of migrants heading to his district: ‘System is completely overwhelmed’

Rep. August Pfluger, R-Texas, stated Friday on “Fox & Friends” that DHS plans to drop off busloads of migrants in San Angelo, which is situated inside his district.

Pfluger requested why migrants are being positioned in communities like this one, moderately than sanctuary cities and referred to as out the Biden administration’s mishandling of the southern border disaster as a big caravan is headed towards the United States.

Pfluger stated the Biden administration should management the migrant surge earlier than lawmakers talk about immigration reforms.

“I don’t think there’s anything in any discussion that can happen until the President and the secretary of DHS get a handle on the flow through their policy and make it clear that it’s not okay to break the rule of law, that we have a legal process.”

Pfluger stated he is directing his questions at DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas as a result of he is placing “Border patrol in a terrible position” because the insurance policies of the Biden administration are chargeable for creating the disaster.

“What are these busses? What are these airplanes? What are they doing? When they get there to my community, if they were to get there, where are they going to go? The crime rates, the drugs, the trafficking, it’s just completely unacceptable.”

The Texas Republican stated that communities like those in his district are being left with an “immense amount of burden” because of this of Biden’s border insurance policies.
