AUSTIN, Texas — A proposed multi-million-dollar settlement between Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and 4 former staff who filed a whistleblower lawsuit is in threat of unraveling.
The whistleblowers filed a movement Wednesday asking the Texas Supreme Court agree to permit the lawsuit to continue as a result of, they are saying, the Office of the Attorney General is not going to agree that the legislature must approve the settlement all through this present consultation.
