Tennis Continues Fall Action at Texas A&M and Rice

HOUSTON – The University of Houston tennis program continues fall motion because the staff splits to compete within the Texas A&M Fall Invitational and Rice Invite starting Friday.

At Rice, Friday’s motion starts at 10 a.m., with doubles adopted through singles motion. Saturday and Sunday are slated for a 9 a.m. get started with the similar layout.

Gabriela Cortes, Elena Trencheva, Sonya Kovalenko and Sophie Schouten will head to College Station, Texas, whilst Blanca Cortijo Parreno, Nina Skoric, Maria Dzemeshkevich and Laura Slisane will go back and forth throughout the town to Rice.

Kovalenko paces the staff with 4 singles wins after two weeks of play. Cortes, Schouten and Trencheva have every compiled 4 doubles wins to guide the staff.

LAST TIME OUT

The Cougars had a forged appearing at the ITA Texas Regionals. Skoric and Cortijo Parreno teamed as much as acquire a couple of doubles victories to guide the Cougars. Cortes, Kovalenko, Schouten and Trencheva every picked up a doubles win.

Kovalenko, Schouten, Trencheva and Skoric recorded the 4 singles wins for Houston at the event.
