Suspect in custody after SWAT standoff in Oakland Park

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – A SWAT standoff in Oakland Park ended with a suspect in custody Monday afternoon, in step with the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

A BSO spokesperson mentioned the company’s detectives had been serving an arrest warrant in the 4200 block of Northwest twenty first Avenue simply after 1:30 p.m. when the person barricaded himself inside a construction in an rental complicated.

Police had been on the scene for a number of hours sooner than government detained the person. Residents mentioned they had been looking ahead to hours to get again into their flats.
