Students Join Fight Against Littering With ‘Keep Oklahoma Beautiful’ Short Video Competition

High college and faculty college students are becoming a member of the struggle towards littering and unlawful dumping in Oklahoma and so they’re becoming a member of by way of quick movies.

As a part of a litter training program, Keep Oklahoma Beautiful challenges college students to deal with the difficulty of litter in a 25-45 second video clip.

About 30 registrants this 12 months starting from highschool to varsity created clips to convey to Oklahomans that littering is dear, unlawful and fallacious.

All the movies are required to have trash hope is that this analysis will educate college students and promote habits change.

“They can learn the damages and the problems of what happens when landfills are full and when people don’t recycle or they recycle incorrectly.” stated Executive Director of Keep Oklahoma Beautiful, Jeanette Nance.

Voting is open now and can shut on January 18th at 11:59 pm.

The winners will probably be determined by a public vote and can win a $1,250 prize.

The successful movies may even be on the Keep Oklahoma Beautiful web site and social media.
