A portion of an Oklahoma interstate can be named after Sen. Jim Inhofe throughout a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for subsequent week.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation mentioned it would break floor at 10 a.m. Tuesday on the soon-to-be-named U.S. Sen. James Inhofe Interchange positioned at Interstate 40 and South Douglas Boulevard in Midwest City.
Among these attending can be Sen. Inhofe, U.S. Rep. Stephanie Bice and Midwest City mayor Matt Dukes.
ODOT officers mentioned the interchange building, which is a component of a bigger undertaking price an estimated $170 million, will reconstruct the interchange right into a “single-point urban interchange.”
