The Thursday assembly comes after a contentious assembly earlier within the week, competition brought on by confusion over which funds Walters was anticipated to current. The newly elected superintendent thought he was being requested to current his predecessor’s funds to begin.
State Rep. Mark McBride (R-Moore) defined that “he was asked to present the aspects of (the budget) he agreed with.”
Walters stated he has labored with leaders from different states to create an “Oklahoma-unique plan” that can embody an incentive-based pay elevate for academics — the most important, most complete studying package deal within the nation, and a parent-choice initiative.”
