WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A fortunate woman hit the jackpot in South Florida after playing a lottery scratch-off game previous this month, Lottery officers introduced Tuesday.
Suzanne Dubeau, 58, of Royal Palm Beach, claimed her $1 million prize on Oct. 3 at Lottery Headquarters at the West Palm Beach District Office after playing the “$1,000,000 A Year For Life Spectacular” scratch-off game.
According to Lottery officers, Dubeau selected to obtain her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum cost of $640,000.
She bought her profitable price ticket from Publix, situated at 375 South Rosemary Avenue in West Palm Beach.
The retailer will obtain a $2,000 bonus fee for promoting the profitable price ticket.
“The $50 scratch-off game, $1,000,000 A Year For Life Spectacular launched in February and features two top prizes of $1 million a year for life and 234 prizes of $1 million,” the Florida Lottery mentioned in a news liberate. “Additionally, the scratch-off tickets are filled with more than $1.6 billion in cash prizes.
