Dec 28 (Reuters) – Wall Street’s most important indexes opened muted on Wednesday as optimism round unwinding of pandemic restrictions by China was offset by worries about rising COVID circumstances on this planet’s second largest financial system.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) rose 23.20 factors, or 0.07%, on the open to 33,264.76. The S&P 500 (.SPX) opened increased by 0.31 factors, or 0.01%, at 3,829.56, whereas the Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) dropped 14.03 factors, or 0.14%, to 10,339.20 on the opening bell.
