Sheriff: Body of Ft. Myers Beach man missing since Ian found

James Denny Hurst’s physique was positioned by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team on his sunken “Good Girl” sailboat behind Salty Sams in Matanzas Pass, authorities say.

Law enforcement says Hurst was final recognized to have been on the sailboat all through the storm. When his stays have been found, the medical expert’s workplace labored to verify his identification. 

“Mr. Hurst’s family has been notified,” Marceno wrote within the tweet. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.”
